We had the most amazing stay in Nabitunich. It's located very close to the Xuantunish, you can even see it from the property. It's nestled in nature and we even saw a Toucan our first morning. Magical. We went for a ride along the river and we just truly had an amazing stay. Owners were super friendly and informative. Would come back in a heartbeat.

If it’s available, do not pass up the opportunity to experience it. The lodge is beautiful and so well designed and presented, with lovely homely touches, clean spacious shower room, comfortable bed and bedroom with cracking aircon, great outdoor seating area, in all just cannot fault it. Communication with Hadas/Dusty was spot on, Hadas also arranged for us to do bird watching and cooking onsite with Flora, both of which were great experiences. On arrival we were met by Willy and Stinky who are both adorable and so friendly, they spent a lot of time with us when we were there! Willy was also a great swimming buddy in the river. Facilities in the lodge were second to none and also catered for our unstated needs! Fully stocked kitchen and a bonus of running bottled water. Having the river there to both cool down in and sunbathe by was a bonus and well used with the humidity at the time we stayed. The location was perfect for us, far enough from town to be remote and only a few mins drive into civilisation. Albert, the main man on site in the day, was lovely and friendly and we had some good conversation with him. The security here is also good, with an electric entrance gate and non intrusive cameras, but Willy and Stinky were the best security, making sure you knew about any movement even remotely near the property! They also slept outside our room on a night, ready and waiting for a breakfast treat in the morning! So cute. If you’re not a dog lover though, they won’t bother you, so please don’t be put off by them being there.

Offrant une vue sur la montagne, l’établissement Villa Massis Luxury Villas se trouve à San Ignacio. Everything. Melanie, Larry and the team treated us more like family than guests. They organised all our trips and activities, at no extra cost, even after we changed our plans. The location was perfect, like an oasis in the jungle, the pool was fantastic and the room was very tastefully decorated with everything we could need.

L’établissement Santa Cruz Cabins vous accueille à 4,2 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Cahal Pech. Juliet et Tony sont charmants. Ils ont tout fait pour nous accueillir et pour qu'on se sente chez nous. L'habitation est super propre, super cosy, la terrasse est géniale avec une moustiquaire pour en profiter à toute occasion. En bas de la rue, vous trouvez déjà plein de supermarchés et de petits restos. La balade pour descendre a San Ignacio est facile et sympa à faire, surtout si vous vous amusez à prendre des routes parallèles à chaque fois que vous descendez dans le centre ville (25 min). A tout moment nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité lors de la balade pour revenir depuis le centre de San Ignacio, même à la nuit tombée, en rentrant des restaurants vers 21h. Pour remonter, sinon rien de plus facile que d'attraper un taxi (le prix de 2 tickets de bus pour nous en Europe). Il y en a partout, tout le temps. Par rapport aux commentaires précédents, à noter que maintenant la route pour y accéder a été bétonnée - rendant l'accès encore plus facile. Nous avons fait pas mal de tours dans la région, et pour info Maya Tour nous a récupéré et déposé à chaque fois gratuitement directement aux Cabins. Donc même pour des départs tôt, ces tours viennent vous chercher au bas de la propriété. Le pied. Le fait de pouvoir avec une réserve d'eau pleine était aussi un plus qu'on n'a pas toujours eu ailleurs au Belize. Et Juliet et Tony sont super sympas, facile d'accès, et ont été sincèrement aux petits soins pour nous.

L’établissement Kane Villas - Mountain Pine Ridge vous accueille à San Ignacio (Cayo), à 20 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Barton Creek Cave. It was so nice to have our own little villa in the rainforest. The area felt so secluded but also very clean and safe. We also had trails to a waterfall and cave towards the back of the property which was great for exploring when we didn’t feel like driving. The room was well stocked and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were really impressed by how well the screens kept the bugs out and we loved laying in the hammock in the screened in porch. It was a bit cold to swim in the pool but we liked heading there in the evenings to relax and enjoy the evening. It was also wonderful to use the grill by the pool and super easy.
