We also joined the Moremi and Mokoro tours organized by the host, which were unforgettable experiences. The guides were professional, knowledgeable, and attentive, always ensuring we could capture great photos and enjoy the moment. On the Moremi tour, we were incredibly lucky to see four of the Big Five - all that can possibly be found in the Okavango Delta. Our guide’s determination to find a leopard after hearing reports from other guides was truly impressive. Golentle is a place full of heart, authenticity, and great adventure — highly recommended!

Maun Airport is 114 km from the property. The view. The quality of the food. When we arrived they asked us if we want to have dinner, because we booked in advance they offer dinner option. Best food we have had during our holiday. But also the vibe on the bar is amazing. And having your own ablution block made it the best. Small scale!

The spacious holiday home is equipped with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with garden views. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Tony is a wonderful host. It was a VERY last minute & late arrival booking and he was very accommodating. The place is huge and there are aircons for the bedrooms and lounge which is great. There is no backup power at the moment for the more and more frequent power cuts being experienced in Maun, but Tony is looking at a generator or solar system to assist on this front. There is backup lighting for when the electricity fails and the Wi-Fi is on a backup UPS, so at least communications are still possible for an hour or so after the start of the power cuts. The property is extremely spacious and lots of thought has gone into making it comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed with both electric and gas stove (good during power cuts), plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. I loved the hot-tub, which was great way to ease away the stresses of the journey. I enjoyed and will definitely be back.
