Beautiful facility close to shopping and the ferry. We were able to cook ourselves the most delicious lamb meal with the fully equipped kitchen. The owners were friendly and helpful.

The hostel is located in the near of the harbor with just a few minutes of walk which makes it super convenient to reach all kinds of living facilities. The room is quite spacious and extremely clean. The neighborhood is also very quiet and peaceful. Although there are not too many staffs, but all of our requests were fulfilled perfectly in time.

Older house with character, right downtown, so very convenient and charming on the inside. Host was responsive during our stay, even arranging for something requested (last minute, shortly after our arrival) to be delivered to the house! Living room and eating area were well outfitted and welcoming. The house had a large TV (WITH ENGLISH CHANNELS) which was awesome (I think the only place during our Iceland trip)! Blackout curtains were good (no need for eye masks).

A really nice, modern and clean place. We've read earlier reviews that finding the property was apparently hard - I don't think it is relevant anymore, since the property is pretty much there where google maps leads you ("Kvíholmi Apartments"), we've had no problem finding it in the middle of the night. The road that takes you there is a gravel road that's around 2,2km with some relatively flat potholes, we were there with a 4x4 but it is definitely managable with a 2wd. There are horses and sheep nearby, you can see them through the windows. We were very thankful for the wonderful soft bed and pillows, we slept comfortably everyday after a long adventure.

Andres was so helpful! He gave us so much information about this area but also about the areas we would be visiting after. The guesthouse is immaculate and the community kitchen/dining area is spacious and well equipped. Our room was very roomy and well equipped. We enjoyed chatting with other guests. The location is perfect for seeing the spectacular waterfalls and Andres was happy to let us k ow about less well known falls that were equally as beautiful. Really a great place to stay!
