I spent wonderful time in this homestay. It is a new small hotel, just a few rooms, just with two employees only, that’s why very silent. Furniture of a very good quality and very clean. Food was delicious. The surrounding area is very peaceful, just a few houses nearby – very peaceful – additional advantage for people like me, who is looking for silence. The staff is very polite and respectful. I spent three relaxing days trekking to the tea gardens, you can go left or right on the village road and enjoy the landscapes. My full recommendation.

The hospitality of Udai uncle and aunty is exceptional.We have stayed for 3 days and it never felt like we are away from home.Moreover Both uncle and aunty used to frequently ask for any need and they would make all arrangements be it the need of warm water, bonfire and asking for the local dish to be prepared .Also Udai uncle is a great singer and ardent devotee of Sathya Sai Baba which resonated with us and we had a good bhajan sessions every morning till the time we spent in Darjeeling.Last but not the least if you want to get a homely feeling and want to have a good conversations with locals then this is the Homestay i would blindly recommend.Aunty is so sweet and she would never let you miss your chai or coffee and of course wonderful conversations.
