Ansari house is a beautiful place to stay. Located in peaceful area - surrounded with gardens, with a nice view on Mahabodhi Temple. You can get to main attractions and local market by walking 20-30 minutes, or can get there with rickshaws in 5 minutes. Family that runs guest house is very nice and welcoming. You can order home made food, made with organic veggies from their own garden. Prices are very reasonable, recommend to try dry fruits dhal and special biryani. Hot water and other necessary facilities are available. But the real gem of this house are kids - they are very cute and curious and would be happy to interact with you, if you are up to it.

The place is very peaceful, clean, the owner is super friendly and you can have food delivered at your room from a local restaurant nearby. I had a super nice stay for the night I was there!

After finishing 20days Vipassana, I felt so blessed to find this place to stay for few days 💝🙏🙏🙏. It’s near Tergar Monastery away from the bustle but still very close to Maha Bodhi Temple. So peaceful, green, also often stayed by Tibetan monks and nuns, that just added extra beauty for me. The place is very clean and the 2 brothers who runs the place; Godson and Guarav are blessed with beautiful karma! They were so helpful and caring, from ordering food, visiting sacred places, transport, shopping and all sorts of helpful advices. We became great friends and shared lots of laughs and warmth. So grateful to have met the women in their family as well, who invited me in their home and I got to hang out and cook with them! 💗🙏💗 it’s definitely a gem💎, I would highly recommend and will stay again. The first contact before my arrival was very supportive and fast. When I arrived, a very happy and friendly woman welcomed us, gave us the most comfortable option and always helped us whatever we needed. Location is perfect, close to the center and Mahabodhi Temple. Room is full of light.
