The highlight of our Kerela Holiday. Excellent service from all concerned. Our 3 boat staff were exceptional. Captains Joshy and Thankachan were so friendly, helpful, and informative and the chef Reji was a brilliant cook and fed us so well ( the Thali meal was the best we had in India). The converted rice barge was beautiful and comfortable ( aircon too) and they took us to loads of lovely and quiet places. Doing 2 nights is better as you see more natural places and quiet backwaters. It was also really good value and they took us to loads of places ( and on a small boat tour, to a church and cycling) and loads of food ( including afternoon tea and snacks).

This was hands down the best experience of our whole India trip in the South! We met Jose first through staying at his homestay and he was incredibly hospitable and kind, chatting with us and giving us heaps of advice! This is Jose's own Houseboat that he booked and arranged for us and the whole experience was just incredible. The boat itself is a great size as it gives you the privacy you need for a couple staying overnight and it also allowed us to travel through narrower waters where they weren't any other tourists!! The backwaters were so beautiful and we had so much fun enjoying the view and the boat. The room in the boat is super clean, well maintained and there is even hot water and an AC machine!! This was luxury for us haha but it was super nice and we would highly recommend staying here. As well as this, the captain and the cook were also on board and they were the friendliest and kindest people ever! The captain talked away with me as I had endless questions and the chef is such a great funny guy, and showed us all these exercises and we even went for a swim with him! Also the food that we got served on the boat for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and also snacks) were AMAZING and traditional kerala style! It was all SOO YUMMY and me and my boyfriend were super satisfied 😋 Overall, Jose was the best host and this Houseboat experience was our best experience so far in the South. Thankyou Jose for everything!! ⭐💗

Highly recommended - the team looking after us were fantastic! Our boat was called Karamanayar and the food prepared by chef Mahesh was sublime! The captain Venu was delightful and Rejeesh was so attentive and helpful. This boat had an upper deck which was a great place to get the best views.

It was as per our expectation - worth the money and clean. The helpers were all sweet and flexible. The rooms were good and cozy. A good option for a group of 5-6 people. Very comfortable for my family.

MAHARANI - Beautiful traditional style boat in a peaceful location with local life to view whilst cruising. The ‘Captain’ Manoj and his assistant Geethu together with our chef and Adie who waited on us all day were amazing. We got off the boat and purchased tiger prawns and calamari from the locals en route and our chef cooked these to perfection together with a total ‘banquet’ of delicious local dishes. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Pure decadence and excellent value. Lastly a huge thank you to Alush M (Front office manager) who organised us from instructions to finding the resort to offering us all the services the resort has to offer and ensuring our stay was perfect. Highly recommend this trip!

My family stayed here for a night and they had a wonderful experience right from the meet and greet to the entire stay and journey. The chef on board cooked excellent and tasty meals which was of high quality. The quantity was a lot. Overall amazing stay with nothing to complain. The entire crew was amazing.
