The little hotel is set in nature and it is very peaceful. Betsy cooked us breakfast and dinner and even served it on our terrace! We had Tara the owner organize a shuttle to the airport for us. The nearest grocery store is 10 minutes away. It’s a good idea to bring up some drinks and snacks. Our room had a small fridge. If you want absolute relaxation you need to go here!

As soon as we arrived and saw both the cabin and it's surroundings, my brother and I were in love with the place and wished we could stay an entire week. The place was really clean and everything we could wish for was there, we cooked each day with great comfort. We couldn't believe it when we were told that there were kayaks included in the price that we could freely take and use to discover the lake. The owner was really nice and explained us everything we needed to know and made us feel we could just message him for any thing at all. He also is very knowing about the place and the animals that live there. Will come back without a doubt if ever I find myself in Panama again, which I think I will.

We had total freedom and the food was amazing. We did the night tour and saw lots of caiman!

His assistant, Rai, is a sweetheart and extremely attentive.

Situated in La Laguna de San Carlos, Hawk's Nest Bed & Breakfast features accommodation with seating area. This bed and breakfast has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the sea and mountain. Randy and Wanda are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome, were always attentive and catered to our slightly bizarre nutritional needs. We loved the house, the gardens, the pool, the hot tub, the dogs (Stella is welcome at ours anytime) and the vibe. The cooking was nutritious homemade food, served with style. I can't fault our stay.
