It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. We loved Togo B&B . The place gave us a very relaxing atmosphere, We actually had the beach for ourselves .It is a very private and quite place . You have to cross the street to get to the beach but this is a non issue since it is a private narrow street for the residents only. Breakfast is basic but I expected to get this kind of breakfast here. The room is good and specious , shower is very good , A/C is very good . One of the staff persons cleaned up and set up the beds on a daily basis. The owners and the staff were very helpful regarding any question we asked.
