Very well maintained, tidy and friendly. Don't be put off by the shared facilities, they only have a few rooms and showers/bathrooms are very, very fresh (and you have water in the room as well). Nice breakfast, not a large buffet but everything you need. Do take this road instead of the tunnel and stop here! Good parking, possible to buy homemade dinner too. It tasted very well and was freshly prepared on order.

The owners were so nice and welcoming to us and had many toys for our little children. We only stayed for a sleepover, but enjoyed it very much.

This traditional family-run B&B is in the Telemark village of Dalen, 500 metres from the Telemark Canal. The modern rooms include a private bathroom with shower. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi and parking. Great breakfast, great host, nice house and room. Free car charge is a great plus.

The calls of cranes echoing from the hills. The 1770 stabbur was very roomy and well-equipped with bathroom, kitchen, TV. I loved the history of the place—like a museum. Short drive to Bo or Lunde, Telemark. Torstein and Goril were charming hosts. I plan to return and recommend to my family.

The only thing is that there’s an extra charge of 175 Norwegian kroner per person for bed linen and towels — That is just for the information. Everything else was fine.
