Our stay at the desert camp in Merzouga was an unforgettable adventure, but not without a few bumps along the way. The setting is undeniably stunning, with the towering dunes of the Sahara surrounding the camp, making for an incredible atmosphere. The camel ride to the camp was an exciting experience, but a bit uncomfortable, and I wish the camels had been better prepared for the ride. While the tents were clean and functional, they didn’t quite match the level of luxury we had hoped for, considering the price. The camp itself was a little more basic than advertised, but the staff more than made up for it with their warm, welcoming attitude and great food. The highlight was the night under the stars, which was absolutely magical. I would recommend this camp for anyone seeking a real desert experience, but it could benefit from a bit more attention to comfort and organization.

At the guest house, the units have a private bathroom. The location was beautiful in Ziz canyon and the house very traditional and pretty. The team was very attentionate. Diner is available in addition and the tajine and soup were delicious and prepared with love. The breakfast is included and was great. All meals taken in a traditional saloon. Very warm shower which was appreciated.

Spending the night at Camel Luxury Camp was one of the highlights of our trip to Morocco. The camp is beautifully set among the golden dunes of Merzouga, and the tents are incredibly comfortable — with real beds, private bathrooms, and everything we needed. The sunset camel ride across the dunes was magical, and arriving at the camp felt like stepping into a dream. We enjoyed a delicious traditional dinner, followed by live Berber music around the fire — a truly authentic experience. The stars at night were breathtaking, and waking up in the silence of the desert was pure peace. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and luxurious Sahara experience!

This was the most remote village of our trip, right in the heart of the Atlas, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is centrally located in the village, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The room was simple and rural, but very comfortable—with a surprisingly good bed. We also had one of the best tagines of our entire trip here! Breakfast was delicious as well. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and peaceful escape.

The bed and breakfast provides garden views, an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. I can definitely recommend this desert camp which is, I guess, a midrange option in Erg Chebbi but with an excellent value for money. We stayed two nights which i wholeheartedly recommend if you have time. The staff are awesome and friendly, the meals are very tasty, the bathroom is clean and always available, sandboarding is available for free. We rode camels on the way there and took a 4X4 on the way back and an took an interesting 3 hour tour to the nomad village and other interesting local sights. There are even lots of animals from cats to goats which makes it super interesting for children.
