The guesthouse is vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable, making it perfect for those who are not just consumers but also care deeply about the environment, animals, sustainability, and local communities. The concept behind this guesthouse is both smart and meaningful. I truly enjoyed it and dined at their ground-floor restaurant for nearly all my meals; everything was incredibly delicious! They set up an account for meals, scooter rentals, and laundry, allowing you to pay by card (or cash) before checking out, which was extremely convenient. Located in a quiet, local area away from the bustling tourist and party zones, the guesthouse also features a fantastic rooftop viewpoint where you can order drinks and food from the kitchen below. It’s a great place to relax or practice yoga. My room boasted a spacious balcony, a writing desk, ample space for hanging and storing clothes, a fan, and air conditioning. Plus, the bathroom had refillable bottles of local organic shampoo and soap. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I also strongly suggest visiting Nibi Spa, which was mentioned on the guesthouse notice board. It features a sauna with a stunning view of the river. Additionally, swimming in the river was an absolute delight!

Situated within 1.1 km of Kampot Pagoda and 6.1 km of Kampot Train Station, The Hidden Oasis Bungalows features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Kampot. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. We loved Hidden Oasis for the super cute, very clean and comfortable bungalows and the wonderful couple who run it! It's exactly as pictured. Also the sheets were the softest we've had in Asia, and the beds nice and not hard like many places. The bathroom is larger than expected. There is a drinking water fountain you can refill at reception. We would highly recommend staying here in Kampot. The owners are super sweet and kind. We rented a motorbike from here and it made getting around easy. Pro tip: we went to nearby hotel Sokchea Kampot Hotel and were able to bargain to use their nice pool from $5 down to $3 per person, towels provided.

I thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay at Ta Eng Guesthouse and wish I had stayed there before. The location is in a quiet part of town and around a ten minute walk to the Durian roundabout. I would like to thank him for all the drinks he gave me as part of the Chinese New Year festivities !

Teuk Chhou Rapids is 10 km from the bed and breakfast, while Phnom Chisor is 15 km from the property. Sihanouk International Airport is 80 km away. Beautiful and quiet place to stay a bit outside of Kampot center. Anne-Sophie and her husband really created a little bubble where you want to spend your days sitting in their comfy chairs by the river. We booked 1 night, we actually stayed 5! Clean and confortable little bungalows. Very well though with a bunch of shelves and hangers, a big mosquito net and a fan. Each bungalow also has a little terrace but, trust me, you're actually gonna spend most of your time in their restaurant by the river ;) The shared bathroom is kept very clean and only a few bungalows don't have a private bathroom, so we almost never had to wait. Try their "rhum arrangé" it's a delight.

We decided to stay at Kampot Origin Guesthouse because it's not far from the center, has an affordable price, and is very clean, especially their beddings. The staff who attended to us were very accommodating. Hopefully, next week we will still be staying at this guesthouse.
