The hotel felt very warm and the onsens are completely amazing! The rooms are big and the bed was very comfortable. At night, most of the stores and restaurants are closed or fully booked so make sure to reserve a sit in advance. The area in the morning is wonderful and was not crowded at all. We really enjoyed it and we would be glad to visit again in the future.

Private scenic view from the bath and the room. Very peaceful countryside. Had a really good sleep. The host was friendly and welcoming.

Firstly, the hospitality was perfect - achieving the balance of care, information, and contact with privacy and space to enjoy the amazing interior and views of Kumumoto from the room. Breakfast was outstanding. I would come back to Kumumoto just to stay here. Stunning location and amazing value.

The host was incredibly kind. She introduced each floor of the house to us after checkin in. There’s a common room with board games, manga, little trickers, a beautiful rooftop with the view of Kumamoto castle, an incredibly cute kitchen. The place felt magical.

Situé à Minami Aso (Kumamoto), l’établissement 女性専用宿カレンデュラ possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et un parking privé gratuit. Un petit-déjeuner américain est servi sur place. L’accueil a été parfait, les hôtes sont d’une prévenance et d’une incroyable gentillesse. La boisson et le gâteau à notre arrivée était très agréables. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux et varié. Ils ont été très à l’écoute de nos envies si bien que le deuxième matin on a eu un peu plus de sucré :) Prendre le petit déjeuner avec la vue sur le joli jardin et le mont Aso, c’était vraiment top ! C’était un plaisir de venir chez vous et nous y reviendrons si possible avec plaisir quand nous retournerons voir le mont Aso ! - Peut-être pourriez-vous juste ajouter une chaise et une console dans la chambre pour pouvoir facilement déposer certaines affaires et écrire. Sinon ne changez rien ;)

A beautiful traditional style Japanese house, surrounded by the owners’ orchard and work shed. ;) Shono and Sae are incredibly sweet abd welcoming, eager to help and share. They offer plentiful snacks and vegetables and a fully equipped kitchen for use. We enjoyed using the shared kitchen and being able to hang our laundry to dry outside. The room was perfect and cool at night with pure mountain air! The shrine in Miyaji is also beautiful!
