The room I stayed in was not very large, but comfortable with good air conditioning, stable and strong wifi, and a bathroom with hot water. Mila Homestay is located a bit on the outskirts of Padang, but that didn't matter because it was actually enjoyable to take a morning walk in the rice fields and local villages behind the homestay. I will definitely stay at Mila Homestay again if next time I go to Padang!

I just got back from a 2 night , 3 day trip that I booked with Jhony. I found the trip to be a fantastic experience! We were lucky enough to see 14 Orangutans in the wild , including a large male and a couple of mothers with their babies. Also various other big troops of monkeys, monitor lizards and many varieties of birds. I have not seen so much wildlife in one place during many previous treks over the world 😍 Jhony is a great guide and is very passionate about the conservation of the jungle.His assistant, the young Lana also really looked after us and will make a great guide in the future, for sure. We were provided with all the food we could eat which was local and delicious, and to stay in the jungle at two different camps with all of the wildlife surrounding was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended

The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a kettle. Don’t miss out on this gem. The best place we stayed in Indonesia. The bungalow is very romantic. Located directly by the sea, nice and comfortable bed (with a good mosquito net which is not on the pictures), tank with drinkwater and really nice bathroom with warm water and a proper shower. A few meters away from the bungalow, there is a private beach where you can snorkle (gear is available at the bungalow). Amazing reefs and fishes only 3 meters from the shore. The bungalow is also located centrally in between Iboih and Gapang beach on the one side, and Sabang city on the other. Both can be easily reached by scooter which you can rent from the hosts (it’s the best scooter we had in Indonesia so far)! Besides the bungalow we have to mention Borja and Yuyun, the hosts. They were by far the best, sweetest, most helpful and most welcoming persons we have met during our travels. They invited us for dinner in Sabang city, helped arranging transportation (not only on the island, but could also help with transportation in other places in Indonesia), and lots of other things. Yuyun even joined us to the phone shop in Sabang city to buy a new Indonesian simcard (since the initial one we bought in Bali didn’t work). We would recommend everybody to pay a visit to Pulau Weh. The people are the nicest people ever, the “island vibe” is unbeatable and diving here is amazing. Moreover, we would recommend everybody to stay at Seagate. You will never forget the experience! From the first contact on everything was organized perfectly (transport from and to the airport, the trek, finding a group to treck with etc.). The staff is really nice, you feel like family there. They also invited me for dinner and we talked about many different things, like culture differences. I did a 2 day 1 night treck with Rian (Guide), Sarol (Assistant Guide) and Mawan (Chef). A very good experience with a lot of explanations and fun. The food was also delicious. You can see, that they have a lot of experience.

The Kupu Kupu garden guest house is in a beautiful location with very friendly staff especially Arif who made us feel at home and welcome straight away! we enjoyed our stay so much that we booked in for longer because we didn’t want to leave! the facilities were all perfect and the whole place was very clean, we honestly didn’t want to leave! we would of spent longer there if our stay in Sumatra wasn’t so short. We definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone else and will definitely be back!
