Luis took great pleasure in sharing the fascinating story of the finca and introducing us to the different species of trees. The cabin was very comfortable, with breathtaking views. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Getting to Sintropia is a bit of a journey (everything is very well explained beforehand), but once you’re up there you won’t want to come back down – and that’s the beauty of it! Nice location, perfect to come down and chill. The hostel is pretty nice and not to expensive. It is locaded near to Poza Encanto and totally worth the walk. I really liked it. A kitchen would be nice though, but the restaurant offers tasty meals and the staff is super lovely 😊

The location is near the entrance of the national park (probably 15 minutes walk). Its quiet, clean and the rooms are basic but spacious and it has a mosquito net. The price is really good and the owner is amazingly helpful. Highly recommend using this as your starting point. Take a swim in the river 5 minutes walk from the compound!

She gave me a little leaving present which was really nice. Beautiful balcony where you can watch the sunset from the hammock. Very quiet. 5 mins walk into the main strip of town (up a hill on the way back but not far- worth it for the views from the balcony)
