Where do I begin? I am a motorcyclist and I have been in hundreds of hotels and B&B, but this has been far by the best. Let me explain. I entered Ekegarden and was later introduced to Tina, the owner. She knocked on my door and walked in with a glass of milk and a Swedish pastry. Who does that! She asked me if I had lunch and offered to drive me to the local Golf course, which I agreed to. "I will pick you up in an hour". Left on my own, I had a wonderful pasta dish with salmon and shrimp. Tina was right. The late lunch was wonderful. Afterwards, she picked me up and drove me back to the Ekegarden. Tina's B&B have wonderful guests and when I had breakfast I met a kind Scot by the name of Allen. We traded history and stories. This is where you meet like minded people. Tina has a wonderful B&B, and she was an incredible host. Love you Tina. Great stay and I would recommend this place to anyone. My best stay in 40,000 kms of motorcyle travel. Bless you Tina! It is a great place to stay if you want to be away from the main city rush, perfect place to be close to nature and enjoy the lake and swim and enjoy the summer nature. Public transport is nearby, but definitely worth it to have your own car to get in there. The room size is also perfect for family as well.

The property was close to public transport links, it had a private parking area and it was comfortable, warm, cozy, and so clean! It had everything we needed. Not once did we feel the cold despite the freezing weather!
