BOOK this place!! I was very impressed by it, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfy. The location is great, right by the ferry station and there’s a very nice and popular cafe around the corner. It’s also close enough to the cable cars, skywalk, and Yudal park if those are on your itinerary. Because it’s near the ocean there’s a chance of mosquitos but an electric lamp was provided in the rooms so we had absolutely zero problems. The bathroom is a little small but it’s alright for a few nights. Our room even had a fridge which I really liked and microwaves in the common area to use. Breakfast was a great bonus and a gave us a good start to our day but most of all, Mr. Kim is very kind and if you have any problems or questions he is more than happy to help!

This is an excellent choice for Mokpo. Right near the station, there are plenty of food and transport options around. The guesthouse is immaculately clean with large rooms and a great bathroom. Easy checkin. Great value

Lovely location near pretty street lights at night. Lots of eating options nearby. Great views from the hillside. Close to the market and Jeju Island ferry.

The guesthouse is ideally located just around the corner from the train station and close to bus stops. The facilities were clean and the hosts friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at the Lighthouse again if in the area.

It was a perfect stay. Comfortable, clean, quiet, spacious room. Well located near the train station and not far from the ferry port. Also near the great Colombang bakery. There is a communal fridge and kettle, free tea/coffee and water, in a nice common area (although I didn't use it). I had no issues at all. Everything was great.

Communication with host was prompt. There's self check-in so you don’t meet the host but as there was no issue at all, it wasn't a problem. The guesthouse is a small one, super close to the station - max 2 mins walking - and there are several bus options around. The port and cable car are close and some of the important sites to see are in walking distance, as well. Getting to the Peace Square and the Rainbow Fountain Show is convenient but takes a bit of a time. The guesthouse overall seems quite new with modern interiors. The single room is convenient with comfy bed and a nice-sized bathroom. The entire guesthouse is very clean. You need to leave your shoes at the entrance hall in the dedicated lockers, where slippers are provided for you. There's a kitchen space on the top floor with a shared fridge, and there's access to a cosy roof terrace. The building is a no-miss with its purple walls - maybe an option for BTS ARMY 💜 😆 I will definitely come back next time I visit Mokpo.

Close to the train station 10 minutes walk. The staff were great and the bed and pillows were so soft. Would stay there again.

Location was perfect. ..close proximity to Yudalsan Mountain - walking tracks Walking track is opposite the Guesthouse. It's approximately 10minutes walk from Mokpo Station. The host was helpful, woke up early to organise a taxi for us to the Ferry Terminal. The room was clean and comfortable. Access to the kitchen was a bonus. It had a very homey feel. I would definitely choose to stay again at the Guesthouse.
