Andrea was a fabulous host from checking in and showing us the facilities and giving us a lot of good tips on what to see and places to eat. He gave us the choice of rooms as we were the only guests that evening and we chose the front room. He did warn us it was the noisiest though as it faced the street but we preferred to have the bathroom inside the room. The other rooms have a bathroom across the corridor which is not shared but for convenience we chose the room with the bathroom inside. The property is well situated and close to all attractions. We got a park right outside and did drive to a couple of places but that was more to save time as we checked in quite late after a long drive. The property was clean and comfortable. The shower was quite large by Italian standards and lovely and hot with great water pressure.

The room was always kept clean despite my stay being long. The surroundings are quiet. They also provide fresh water, fruits, and homemade sweets everyday. I would visit the same place if I go to L'aquila again.

The place has a magical atmosphere, the surroundings and structure are very well kept and there is a lot of greenery. But what makes it so special is the big Italian family that is always welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were greeted with homemade wine and provided with fresh eggs every day. We were so warmly welcomed by the owners in their beautiful casa, which is a former convent. The church next to it is still in use. They recommended some very nice restaurants in the neighborhood and also a piano concert in the church next which we attented, it was beautiful! The rooms are very clean and spacious. They left us soap, toothbrushes, etc in the (very clean) bathroom. Hot water at any time and the breakfast was also very nice. The town is just a 15min drive away and there are plenty of facilities like stores and restaurants nearby, still you wake up with a beautiful view and I think this is a great place for hiking. If we ever come by this region again we will be sure to book a room with you again! Thank you 🌈
