This was my first stop off from Delhi on a motorbike trip. Safe and secure off road parking and a free room upgrade, what’s not to like! Extremely helpful, friendly owner, nothing was too much trouble and he even offered to help with my motorcycle when I had a flat tyre and the spicy ginger chai was amazing! There are plenty of basic, cheap Indian dhabas just outside the hotel, 60p for a meal. Don’t be put off, they look rough from the outside but the food’s delicious. Nice clean fresh sheets and spacious rooms.

Iora guesthouse is in a quieter part of Bharatpur and ideally situated for the bird reserve. Our room was a good size with firm but comfortable beds, and there was an excellent shower with plenty of hot water - quite rare in India! Devendra, the owner, is very knowledgeable and helpful and can provide bikes and organise a birding guide. We would recommend this rather than hiring a cycle rickshaw in the reserve. The food is really good, freshly prepared and very tasty and we ate all our meals here. Overall, we felt it was excellent value for money and would highly recommend. There's a great barber round the corner if needed, a beer shop near the bus stop and plenty of regular buses in both directions towards Jaipur and Agra.

Fantastic location for the bird park & easy to get to from the station & easy to get to the town by tuk tuk. We hired bikes for the day around the bird park, which was fantastic & really enjoyable way to see it The owner Rajesh & his assistant were wonderful & so kind & helpful - we had an early check in & we could store our luggage after check out on the last day. This is a really a brilliant place to stay.

Garg Guesthouse is a very clean guest house that offers good value for money and is very convenient for The Keoladeo National Park set in a suburban street. The rooms are basic, but we needed nothing more. Rooms and bathroom are clean.
