The location was great. Right in the centre of the old town and only 800m from the bus station. And it is was a 10 minutes walk to the beach. The room was clean and had every appliance that you need. The host was very nice and helpful. He gave us advice where to go and which places were the best for dining and breakfast. It was wonderful and we definitely will stay there again the next time we visit Rethymno.

The location was fantastic and right in the heart of the old town with restaurants everywhere. It was spacious and the view, from our terrace, was right across the front of the town and absolutely stunning. Staff were very friendly and polite. We were also given a lovely gift when we booked out.

Great location, really close to beach (3 minutes) and bus stop where buses to downtown go every hour. You can still walk to downtown along the beach, for 30 minutes, it is a pleasant one. A great selection of stray cats to pet on the patio. Kitchenette was handy to cook something simple, can use air conditioner or leave air pass through metal shutters which are common in Rethymno.

Heracles Hotel has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Spílion, 26 km from Archaeological Museum of Rethymno.
