A comfortable, quiet, welcoming place that exudes genuine hospitality and charm. The care and attention the hosts put into the restoration of this old building is evident from the wonderfully inviting exterior and the soft welcoming interior. The hosts put this same care and attention into looking after their guests. I instantly felt at home. I stayed in the smallest room in the house which is quite tiny (as I expected from the description of the room given) but very restful and suited me perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and the towels soft and fluffy. It was a pleasure to stay here.

Stunning and unique countryside chateau - atmospheric charm galore … a real homely experience ( as opposed to hotel ) thanks to the lovely host Caro who clearly pays attention to the details of guest experience and is very interesting to talk to. + our twin room had a lovely epic view of the nature through the classical windows + sink in room very convenient + en-suite bathroom with great shower + breakfast made to order was delicious and plenty of coffee / tea / juice on offer + mattress was firm and good pillows which I appreciate these days + nice snacks and tea making in the room + free Wifi worked well for us + free parking onsite no problems + Artistic charm in the house with artwork and wallpapers and large black and white photos of Africana

A superlative overnight stop: Hazel was the perfect hostess and her attention to detail in all aspects from the crisp white bedding to the cinnamon toast and cake at breakfast is to be highly commended. This was by far the best countryside accommodation that I stayed in. Moreover, it was the first night in maybe the past two weeks when I slept so good. This place is so silent and so cosy... just perfect! Thanks to Tom for being such a great host, keep up with the tremendous job! You're doing great! Beware, there are animals, and they are the loveliest cats and dog and guinea pigs on Earth.
