Our stay at Highland Rooms was superb - the room was wonderful and beautifully decorated. The bed & pillows were so comfortable, we had the best nights sleep of our trip! The hosts have thought of so many little extras to make your stay enjoyable. Although breakfast is not served we were given some excellent recommendations within walking distance & the restaurant suggested for evening meal was very good If you’re planning on a trip to Ullapool I would most definitely recommend Highland Rooms

I can't express how impressed I was with Croft Cottage. My wife booked it last minute, unseen, as we were just looking for a bed for the night. I was expecting small quarters and a staff more interested in my wallet than me. BOY WAS I WRONG! Our room was huge and clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a full bath, not just a stand up shower, towel warmer, all the little extras I didn't expect. The house had recently been renovated and you could tell no shortcuts were taken. Julian and John, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Breakfast the next morning was made to order to perfection. I would almost travel back to Scotland just to stay here again. If you're ever in the Ullapool area you would be missing out by not staying at the Crof Cottage.

This was the third (or fourth?) time we stayed here, and it's always like coming home. It has everything a hotel needs to have, no fancy stuff or kitch. Travelling through Scotland without staying in The Arch Inn has become incomprehensible for us. A new addition: the new restaurant on the first floor, "The Shore", not connected to the hotel, I think but really really good!

Lovely old building with spacious room and modern bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and Sara was accommodating by taking our fridge provisions to place in their fridge. Easy walk to all of the restaurants in the area. Had a good meal at The Caledonian Hotel.

Everything. Host was lovely and cheerful and took the take to receive us and have a talk with us about how and what to see in the following days Room was big and with pently of space. Also wonderful breakfast with plenty of choices. Bed was comfy too.
