The rooms were very lovely. Very cutely decorated and perfect for a country pub. Also very comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing, so warm, friendly, welcoming, helpful and informative.

Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and furnished beautifully. The food was good and the terrace lovely for drinks. Breakfast was excellent and offered traditional full English and a range of vegan, vegetarian and other tempting choices. I would definitely go back there. The location enabled us to walk straight onto the high street with its historic buildings and great shops and eating venues. Parking is available close by. We would recommend the Gothic house and will be returning there. Thank you for making our stay so pleasurable.

Gorgeous spacious room with freestanding deep-soaking clawed bath tub. Staff were incredibly helpful and the food is some of the best I’ve had at a hotel. Included breakfast was ace! We loved it and will be back.
