Such a lovely place. Easy parking, beautiful, quiet and comfortable room. Lovely hosts who let us check in really early. Super yummy breakfast. Would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Just a 15 min walk into Rochester. Wish we’d had better weather and could’ve sat on their lovely terrace overlooking the river.

Beautiful cottage and rooms at the pub which was the perfect location for attending a wedding at the Cooling Castle Barn. Beautiful setting with a nice walk through a field nearby as well. Bed was incredibly comfortable and facilities great in the cottage.

We had a fabulous overnight stay as the room was huge, clean as a whistle and the bed so comfortable! Our host Gavin made us feel right at home and the restaurant food was delicious! Saban and his wife were super responsive and made us feel more than welcome in there house, where they live themselves in their private quarter. The house itself is a work of art with many historical artifacts and original pieces. The house is closely located to everything. The mix of the very historical look with the very modern bathrooms is an interesting mix (we indeed aren't fans of 700yo+ bathrooms haha). Honestly, even if you were planning on staying only in London, it is worth the one hour train trip to take a break of the big city while taking a step back in time!
