The staff was great, engaging and very helpful, the place really well kept keeping in line with the old style of the building, the continental breakfast was very good as did the dinners. Food was great and having it next to the fire on a cold night was the cherry on the top.

Very nice traditional cottage on a farm with all comfort you can imagine. I had a very relaxing time, but could also easily reach hiking trails in the Blue Mountains or the Zig Zag Railway. Very nice hosts who help you with everything.

We had a fantastic weekend at Closeburn House. Steve and Paul were so friendly and welcoming. The property is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job at renovating, stylish, fresh and very cosy. The breakfast was exceptional and a real highlight. A superb two course breakfast with homemade relishes and banana bread, perfectly cooked eggs too. I would highly recommend Closeburn House for a quiet weekend, it’s a 10 minute drive to Blackheath which has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. Many fantastic walks close by too. Such a wonderful place, will definitely be back!
