Johnny was an amazing host and this spot is right on the water with a beautiful view of Huahine. There are kayaks you can use to paddle over to the small island or upriver. I loved meeting Johnny's sweet mum and this is really a way to experience life in Ra'iatea. Johnny gave me a custom tour of the island. Bring mosquito repellent, as they are plentiful on the island. A net was provided, so I slept well.

Snorkelling, canoeing and cycling are possible within the area, and the accommodation offers a private beach area. Gilles & Henriette were superb hosts and made us feel at home. The setting is so tranquil and like a home from home. Breakfast was an unexpected highlight - especially the delicious homemade jams and coconut bread, plus the fruit from the garden. Don't miss sunset drinks and dinner at the Opoa Beach Hotel down the road - plus there's tasty pizza on offer next door too.

Jeremy is a really lovely host, he took us shrimp fishing the first night. He also offered bikes and a kayak free of charge. I would highly recommend staying here.

Situated in Tevaitoa in the Raiatea region, Bungalow chez Josi, bord de mer privé has a patio and garden views. A perfect and comfortable setting on a private lagoon, very romantic. Josi is a wonderful, kind hostess. She and her staff made it very simple to rent their car for hire and kayak.
