Surf lessons are a lot of fun and the village tour and waterfall tour are both great. Cocktails were really good, as was the food at breakfast. The hotel seems to have a good relationship with the local people and seems to have genuinely benefitted Sumba.

The staff was super attentive even before we arrived at the property and after they dropped us at the airport. Sumba is a beautiful island and the Nihi area didn’t disappoint, highly recommend strolling around the beach! Of course don’t miss the horses, it was dreamy. Our villa was stunning, everything was spotless. We had a massage in our room and was one of the best ones we’ve ever had! Food and drinks were also superb, great selection to choose from. We are only sad we couldn’t stay longer!

The private villa with pool was spectacular as were the ocean views. The food from the restaurant was properly prepared and good. Since it was low season, they were out of quite a few menu items.
