Sisingamangaraja XII International Airport is 130 km from the property. This was for sure the best place I stayed in tuk tuk! The hosts were definitely the best part, so kind and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I had a fan, toilet paper, towel, free water refills and hot water in the shower which is rare here! It is in a quieter area but not far from delicious food. There is no direct lake access but you can access the lake from any restaurant if you order some food and ask permission :)

After spending one night at Juma Cottages, I extended my booking for one more week. It was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Lake Toba. About a 15min walk from the ferry port Parapat-Samosir. It's a newer accommodation, with big rooms with a fan, TV, wardrobe and kettle. The bathroom is also quite spacious and even though there is no shower wall or curtain, the rest of the bathroom does not get wet during showers. The reception guy was friendly but his English was very limited. Possible to rent a scooter right at the hotel, good wi-fi. Breakfast included.
