The bed and breakfast, set in a building dating from 1905, is 28 km from TT Grandstand and 38 km from Laxey Wheel. Manx Museum is 27 km from the bed and breakfast and Gaiety Theatre is 28 km away. The property was welcoming, extremely clean, and conveniently located at walking distance to several restaurants and pubs as well as to local free parking. Nick and his family made us feel at home. He suggested so many interesting places to explore over our 3 night visit. We will definitely recommend Carrick Rooms and the Isle of Man to our friends looking for an adventurous destination!

Our ancestors used to own this hotel, so we were keen to see it for ourselves. Not disappointed - gorgeous location next to a dramatic rocky shore. Very comfortable room overlooking the beach; a convivial woody bar; good food/beer and very pleasant and helpful staff. Top notch and very proud to finally see the place !!

Built in 19th century, this 4-star apartment is within less than 1 km of Douglas Beach and a 12-minute walk of TT Grandstand. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Mark & Jason are beautiful souls. Lovey decor, everything was comfortable from the sofa, single chairs, dining chairs, bed, bathroom was easy to move around in. The towels nice and fluffy. Nice size kitchen with everything required for a four day stay. TV in lounge room and the bedroom. Plenty of space to hang clothes and plenty of draw space, nice little nook in bedroom for putting on makeup. I love that the mirror in the bathroom has a light and a demister. A nice size fridge. Very, very clean with great views, we were lucky to be on the top floor after 4 flights of stairs don't let that put you off. A nice quiet location. Very quick walk to the city center and foreshore. The bonus for us was having a washing machine/dryer with only travelling with carry-on luggage. Car parking was never an issue always plenty of spaces available at all times. I would recommend any one to book, Mark and Jason are lovely, friendly hosts who also own The Tea Junction which is also a must visit owned by Jason & Mark.
