People in the community are very friendly, local bar recommended to experience the vibes. Hosts Sara, her brother and Joao will do everything to make your stay unforgettable. Excellent location within walking distance to the heart of the city but still quiet and tranquil. The owners were extremely helpful and provided great recommendations for days trips, activities and restaurants. They arranged a vehicle rental for us and a day trip to a beautiful island off the south shore of Sao Tome.

Location was wonderful. Laurindo took care of the transfers as it is impossible to use a rental car to get there, and took us, for a fee, to town for dinner one night. There was no charge for our transfer from and to the airport. Laurendino also took us to a supermarket before taking us to the Ocean View. One needs to get groceries. He also was kind to arrange two boat trips to Goat Island. We were lucky to have the whole Guesthouse including the kitchen for ourselves. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you, Laurendino!

I liked how they cooked food for you. They gave me a good meal with chicken, fried plantain, rice, even legumes when i asked.

The location is amazing, feels like another universe, far away from any hustle and bustle. The beach is huge and romantic and if you take a short walk to the end of it, you can get a great view over Pico Cao Grande. Since there are no restaurants nearby, it’s worth taking dinner at the hotel. I had the most amazing home made food here! Breakfast is simple but nice and there is real coffee! The room was spacious and very clean, there are mosquito nets over each bed.
