It is a hidden GEM. I stayed 4 nights. tThe place is kept very clean, peaceful and my room is refreshing with a beach view. the staff are kind and friendly feels like home. the food was delicious everyday. Dinesh who works there has been very helpful, informative and proactive. he is ready to take you to tourists attractions, other cities and plan your stay. I had smooth relaxed. will come back again. highly recommend!

We loved everything about this place. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. The rooms were very comfortable that we wanted to stay more in the rooms than go out. The staff took care of all our needs from the minute we arrived to the moment we left. The food was excellent too. A must try hotel.

The grounds of the boutique hotel were exquisite and opened to the beach. The rooms were so fancy (obviously designed with a Western eye and for Western comfort) and extraordinarily clean. We ordered food, which was delicious. The hosts helped us arrange transport to the airport and even got up with us at 2 am to see us off. The sea is quite nice at the location with tide pools and beach areas. We swam and snorkeled! A great place to stay onarrival or departure from Sri Lanka, about 20-30 minutes from the airport.

I was met at the entrance by Hiroshima and she knew my name. I was given a beautiful floral necklace and took part in a lighting ritual. The staff were all amazing, very kind and nothing was too much trouble. I wasn't sure what to expect from the treatments, but I enjoyed the consultations and the massages were amazing. The Ayurveda approach was interesting and logical. I had the best one to one yoga class I have probably had in my life. The food was just outstanding, some of the best food I have had. The chef spoke with me every day asking questions on likes and dislikes. Dr. Anila led two meditation sessions with me and I've struggled to meditate in the past, but these sessions were enjoyable and enlightning. A truly memorable experience.

We had a wonderful time at MaSa Beach Front Apartments during our stay. The place was super clean and had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Altogether the apartment had 3 ACs and the living areas was very nice with the beach view. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the facilities you need. The sea view was perfect and there was lot of peace there. It really was an amazing experience and we hope to visit again. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a luxurious, peaceful, and enjoyable stay. Thank you Mr. Mahesh for providing accomodation for us at your wonderful apartment.

This was one of my favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka. A quite location by the beach with nice size rooms and good facilities. Host and staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.

In addition to being one of the oldest hotels in the country, this property is surrounded by natural beauty. While there, I attended tourism events with government officials, and tried the restaurant’s amazing food. While I emailed prior to my arrival to inquire about meeting space, no response was received. As I see the guest service email isn’t proactive, I will not recommend this property for business tours. However, if you wish to relax with your family, this hotel is highly recommended

    Very nice location, friendly staff. Pubudu and the other guys there were all great. Close to Colombo and to the airport as well. Beach front, even though we didn't go to the beach in the short time we were there.

    The hotel was convenient to get to the airport and Colombo. Great view of the ocean and the city skyline from the roof terrace. Pubudu was excellent. He was fantastic at helping us store our bags, arranging transport to the airport and generally was great at his job. Nothing was a problem for him and he had such a positive attitude.

    We stood one night at Bivon, before departing next day from Colombo, and our stay couldn’t be better. The place is very clean and right by the seaside, rooms very comfortable and breakfast yummy :).     The hospitality was exceptional. Mr Dinesh recieved us at airport in the middle of night. Great service. When my child got sick he took her to hospital also. A very kind gesture from the hotel was they arranged for special food for my daughter during her illness. The location of the hotel is simply excellent. It's right on the beach and the humongous windows of the room augment the beach view experience. Wifi is good and the pool is cozy. Would 100% recommend. Everything was taken care by Mr Dinesh. Spl thanks to him
