An appartament is very clean, nicely desinged, comortable and equipped with everything what needed for a longer stay. We have not planned to cook but finnally we cooked almost every day :) Loundry is 5 min away. We even tried a local hairdresser. The place is located 2 min by walk from the beach and we could see the sea and mountains from our balcony. We came by ferry (by our car) and were able to check in very early and check out in the evening. The place is pet friendly, we stayed with our cat and dog with no additional charge. Platanias is calm and quiet in November, we had a good rest, but still some restaurants and shops are open. A great butcher Meeting Group is close by, where you can find local goods of a very high quality. Weather is still nice to chill and sunbath by the pool. Chania is more lively with lots of restaurants open but we preferred more quiet place and prolonged our stay here.

Lovely welcome gifts upon arrival. Dog-friendly and lovely places to walk the dog. The hotel is on the beach, clean, and well looked after. It's also close to all the restaurants and supermarkets.

Above and beyond. Our host was fantastic, took great care, just like an aunt would, with lots of tips and tricks, recommendations and advice on how to not fall for the old' tourist traps. Definitely recommend the place, it has a generous terrace with a very nice sea view. And again, Angela, our host was the nicest host we ever had in Greece, and we've been coming to Greece for the past 15 years. So, thank you, Angela!

I’m so glad we chose to stay at Ilias Apartments! The rooms are beautiful: tastefully designed and clean with a warm, heartfelt touch. The location is superb, right on the beach in a quaint town, a half hour drive from Chania airport. Most of all, the owner, Jenny, is an incredible host: kind, helpful, generous. She sweetly upgraded our room for a few days when the apartment with the huge terrace was available. The sea views are spectacular. Jenny also gave us tips of where to go and how to get there. She was always happy to help and made our stay in the paradisiacal island of Crete that much more amazing!

We had a lovely stay at Minoa Palace! The staff was kind and welcoming and provided great service and nice little perks like an anniversary cake and a free bottle of wine, and a little gift when you check out. The breakfast and dinner buffet was overall really great! We spent a lot of time at the pool, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance, and a bus stop right outside the resort, making it easy to go to Chania or in the other direction to Kissamos. The room was fairly basic but nice and all we needed, and the bed was very comfortable.

The location is amazing - close to city center, and directly next to the sea. The breakfast is very good: a wide variety of hot and cold food, some constant things and some things that varied. The rooms were very clean: they clean it every day, and give new bedsheets twice a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful, with a 0/24 reception.
