I have been to Capri before and this time we wanted to have an affordable, extended stay to be able to enjoy the island fully and have time to relax comfortably. Costantino’s Area Suite was the perfect apartment for our needs. Brand new construction, great views, very clean and beautifully decorated, Capri style. Great !The location is perfect between Marina Grande and Capri making the port and downtown easily accessible without the need to take taxis and buses which can be difficult in the island. There is a very good supermarket walking distance, approximately 5 mins. Taking the opportunity to thank Costanito. He was the perfect host. Friendly, helpful and kind. Huge plus for picking us up at the port in his car with our luggage and taking us back on our departure. Highly recommend staying in this apartment.

Loved our stay at this flat. The location is spectacular, with a beautiful view of the Camerelle street. You have shops/restaurants/cafes all in walking distance. My partner and I were traveling with a friend so having a separate full bathroom made the stay much more comfortable. Everything was super clean upon arrival. There is also an elevator (which helped with luggage), and a steamer (I prefer these over iron). We were visiting at the time that the island had an issue with water supply and the host helped us by bringing water, checked up on us to make sure we were doing goo. Overall a wonderful stay for our first time in Capri, I definitely recommend!

The house is big, clean, quiet, well-equipped. Three bedrooms and two bathroom, terrace with evening sun. Good AC and wifi. Away from all tourists! Nice cat visiting us every evening. Wonderful hosts who treated us with both Limoncello and homemade pizza (the best pizza we've ever had in Italy!). The hosts live in the same house and you basically share the terrace with them, although they are "out of sight" from them whilst on the terrace. This makes it easy to ask questions and get help. The house is located on the eastern part of the island, just a five minutes long walk from the fantastic Villa Lysis (go there!) and around 20 minutes from Villa Jovis (emperor Tiberius legendary main palace on Capri). This makes it very calm and we basically saw no tourists whatsoever there during our stay. Note: getting there takes some time since it's located on the car-free part of the island. From the harbour you take the funicular to the Piazzetta, where you exit in the "upper right corner" (viewed from the point of entry) and then just follow the road until you reach your destination. According to the hosts this should take 25 minutes; according to Google Maps (which functioned very badly on the narrow streets of Capri) it should take 37 minutes. This might well be true were it flat ground and without luggage to drag along. With our (wheeled) suitcases of 20+ kilos, and it being mainly uphill all the time, it took us almost an hour to go there, and we're in good shape and are used to walking with luggage. But it's totally worth it! (Downhill is a little easier, but walking downhill, with the "brakes on" is also taxing.) The neighbourhood is very nice-looking with orchards and wonderful villas and lazy cats. There is a grocery store some 800 steps from the house (you pass it when you walk to the house) where they have everything you need. We would love to stay here again! Highly recommended!!
