Booked to visit nearby Utah, Omaha, etc. beaches on our own - they're around 45-60 minutes away by car, if you're doing it on your own the value for money is a lot better when branching out from Cherbourg. If you are old enough to know the movie Umbrellas of Cherbourg, there are plenty of easter eggs within 10 minutes walking distance. Really liked the location - right next to a big shopping center for food, but close to historical downtown. Cherbourg itself is very charming and this hotel is just the same. Clean, organized, helpful staff. The room was spacious and well accessorized to prepare simple meals. Parking gate was a little tight, but great to have a protected space for the car. You need to call ahead or pickup the card from the front desk, to open the garage gate in the side street. Staff were very helpful!

Very clean and tidy, reasonable size apartment with a small kitchenette. It's situated in a quiet area of valognes and comfortable beds, we slept well. I can't comment on the breakfast, but all in all it was worth it.
