We visited Golden Sands for the first time a few years ago, staying at another hotel, and that was when we first discovered the beauty of this Bulgarian resort. This year we were happy to return, and we chose Hotel Astoria. Why did we decide on Astoria? Both my wife and I work in the hotel industry in one of the northern capitals of Europe, so we approached the choice from a professional point of view. We carefully read the reviews on Booking.com, looked at the overall rating (which was high), and considered the location — close to the sea and the central points of the town. And we were not mistaken! From the moment we arrived, we evaluated the housekeeping with a professional eye, and it was excellent. At check-in, we faced a small difficulty, which sometimes happens, but the reception team, especially Elena and manager Katrin, resolved it quickly and professionally. This not only did not spoil our mood but actually lifted it and left us with admiration. Well done! The food and entertainment were also on a high level. We are certain we will come back again. Thank you, Astoria team!

There is an inside swimming pool, sauna and SPA, so you can come at any time during the year. The food is also good, we were able to easily find something healthy and tasty at the same time. Amazing staff, especially the guy in the bar and the woman in the massage cabinet. We really enjoyed our stay.

Overall we stayed for 6 nights. Everything was amazing to be honest. The all inclusive package literally had everything we needed which made our stay very enjoyable. The all inclusive offer consists of Breakfast (07:30-10:00), Lunch (12:00-14:00) and Dinner (18:00-21:00). Also there is an outside snack bar from 12:00 to 16:00, and two drink bars with a high variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The food was also very good without any objections. There is an outside and inside swimming pool which are monitored by lifeguards. This means you can feel safe all the time, when in the water. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They make you feel like home as soon as you enter Madara. When you come up to the drinks bar the staff always want an interaction with you as a guest and they want your stay to be the best it can be. There is also someone stood at the doorway and greeting you, when coming into breakfast, lunch or dinner. In the free time you can play games like bilard or ping pong or even go to the beach which isn’t that far away from the hotel, only around 10 minutes. Every day here was full of joy and happiness for me and my fiancée. We hope to come here again and fulfill ourselves with this generosity and kindness 😊 Thank you Madara!
