A huge apartment, extremly clean (and I mean it), with everything working perfectly. Close to the airport too. Very quiet rooms, Lidl nearby, buses to any destination (Valletta, Gozo, etc) nearby too. We were very happy with our stay here! The apartment is so big that you can do sport simply by going from the sleeping rooms to the kitchen :) We already regret leaving it!

The whole island of Malta is not that big, so it doesn't realy matter in which part of island you are located. Birżebbuga is less crowded with tourists and offers long walk along the coast. It has two nice sandy beaches with clear water. There is also a playground on the Pretty bay beach.

We asked the owner for some help he didn’t hesitate to come and give some help we appreciate. we felt like home my daughter like it staying there so much specially the tarace view. Good central location for a visit to Malta if you want an alternative to the bustle and noise of Valletta. Very much a town where people live their lives rather than a 'tourist trap'. Good access to local buses. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars in the town. We enjoyed a wonderful at Mennula, which has a lovely roof terrace and offered a blend of Sicilian and Maltese food and some great wine. Very convenient for the main Malta airport which can mean a bit of aircraft noise, which we didn't find a problem. The bell on the main Church in the centre chimes the quarter hour all day and all night!

A city where there is not a lot to do, nearly no restaurants did survive the Corona crisis. There are a few take away's, but that's about it. A cosy but small town, but nothing really to see and no restaurants to have a nice dinner.

It is really nice spot, although you could go a bit closer to the sea. You can get around quite easily using the city buses. However, you should buy a Tallinja card for that, as buying separate tickets will not pay out (price is 2.5 euros at driver per 2hour trip). In contrast, for 25 euros you can get 7-day bus card (with many different options available). It will save you a lot.

The owner is an artist so it's a beautifully decorated house. And at $50 in high season for a room with a balcony what an amazing value. Including a simple breakfast which was just fine. It's not in the city center but it's only one block from a bus that goes directly to the city center and comes every few minutes.
