The room was spotless and very comfortable. The hotel is walking distance to the airport which is a huge plus, particularly for an early morning flight. Getting to downtown Geneva with either the bus or train, using the free travel card, is also very convenient. TIP: To avoid wheeling a large suitcase all the way to the hotel, there are lockers available at the train station (between the arrivals area and Migros).

Offering a garden and garden view, Maison d'hôtes "Les pilotes" is located in Geneva, 1.1 km from PalExpo and 3.2 km from United Nations Geneva. Catherine and her Daughter have opened their home to strangers as they love to meet New people and are, like me, travellers at heart. The whole house is (air)travel themed and I spent an incredible lovely night with my host not only opening the door but her whole life to me. Obviously this was in no way obtrusive but left to my own choice in accepting the invitation! I came as a stranger and parted as a friend- and will most certainly be back ; )) Merci.....

The Ibis Geneve Aeroport hotel is located in Cointrin, 10 minutes drive from the centre of Geneva, close to the international airport and the Palexpo exhibition centre. Location: 10 minutes' easy walk on the flat from the airport, but with a shuttle generally available. On the main bus route into the city, about 20 minutes away. Quiet area with trees. Spacious, very clean and comfortable room and beds. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Restaurant: especially for breakfast (starting from 4am.) food was tasty and good value. Although specific check-in times are stipulated, they are flexible. Supermarket not too far away at the airport. In short, everything a traveller arriving by air needs.
