We wanted something special for Christmas, and what we received from the family was more than we anticipated. Everything was perfect — the rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the house and surroundings were really nice. But the family is what made the difference. They made our stay the best we had in Vietnam. Initially, we booked for four nights, but we extended twice because we truly felt amazing there. One of the staff members speaks good English, so we were able to have short conversations with the family. We couldn't recommend this property more — my parents and kids felt wonderful there, and we would have stayed longer if more rooms had been available.

With river views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. A few steps away from the noisy and busy street you enter in another world! Lovely decorated and silent as it would be in another place. Such a bathroom we have never had, it is worth to see it. Yennie, the host, takes time to speak to you. We enjoyed a tour organized by Yennie: with the bikes and with the boat for 4h trough the country side.

I can really recommend this homestay, as I had such a good time I decided to stay for one night longer than I planned. Oanh and her family are some of the most warm, friendly, hard working people I've ever met, and they treat you with such kindness and hospitality. The family operates a couple different homestays on An Binh, so if she doesn't have room you can ask if her brother or sister does. The house is a beautiful traditional house, and sitting in the hammocks on the porch you can have a chat with her or the other guests, or just relax and listen to birds singing in the yard. I did the boat tour with Oanh's brother and it was a great experience, I've never had fruit as sweet as the longan and rambutan we picked from the trees during the tour. There's bicycles you can borrow to go around the island, and I was also able to rent Oanh's sister's scooter to drive to Sa Dec for a day. Also, Oanh is an amazing cook and her food is the best I've had in Vietnam so far! I told her she should start offering cooking classes too, maybe you can ask her to show how she makes some of the food :) Thank you Oanh and your family, hope to see you again!

Each room is fan-cooled and comes with a mosquito net and a desk. Bathroom and toilet facilities are shared. Phuong and her familiy were exeptional hosts, very friendly and attentive. They organized activities like a boat tour for us. The homestay has a really pretty garden. We would like to thank the homestay for the nice experience.

The guesthouse is just 2 km from Dong Phu Dunes. Vinh Long City is 10 km away, while Cai Be floating market is a 30-minute boat ride away. The staff were really kind, especially Van, who was always smiling. There were a lot of activities on the premises, like cycling and pool and darts. It was a lot of fun to cycle around the Vietnamese countryside.

The homestay is located about 3 km from the ferry to Vinh Long (10 minutes by bike). Nestled within a spacious, beautifully planted garden with lots of hammocks where you can unwind. My room (14) was in a "stone house" and I felt very comfortable in it - it was very quiet there.  Every morning, I was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast - in addition to the daily omelette with bread, you get a plate with different fruits. But the very best part - the different mouthwatering sweets 😋 every day. And to top it all, I could enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lodge that belongs to the homestay. Together, it was a wonderful start to every day :) The island An Binh is a scenic paradise, and exploring it by bike from the homestay was an adventure in itself. Short ferry trips to neighbouring islands and towns add to the charm of this wonderful location. I had a truly memorable time on the island and at this homestay. Upon my next visit, I will undoubtedly choose Phuong Thao Homestay again.

It was my birthday during my stay and my husband and the family surprised me with a cake, flowers and fruit. So lovely. I really enjoyed cooking dinner with then and, OMG dinner menu was amazing.
