The daily boat tours and excursions in this stunning place were fantastic. Luca showed us his favourite hidden beaches and sandbanks, and how to move through the bay according to the tides. These have been the warmest, clearest, and most spectacular beaches we've ever been in. The hotel meals are amazing, including lots of fresh local fruits and italian-swahili inspired dishes at dinner. The owner Luca will take excellent care of you and the staff is also very kind and attentive.

The hotel also provides free WiFi as well as a paid airport shuttle service. We loved our stay at Lala lodge. Beautiful, quiet spot - exactly what we wanted. Great food and lots of it. Super easy to arrange day trips and make plans. Dennis, the owner, made us feel right at home. Actually one of our favorite parts about staying here was dinner and conversations with Dennis and another guest there at the same time - it felt like we were staying with friends:)

All units at the accommodation include air conditioning and a desk. Very peaceful, beautiful surroundings and attentive staff. A lovely spot to watch the sunset with a happy hour cocktail in hand. The food was also excellent, with delicious fresh fish dishes. We also dived with Pemba dive centre who are on site and can very highly recommend them.

Amazing location, felt like we were the only tourists on this beautiful island filled with spectacular nature. It was really good to see tides in action in this remote location, away from tourist-filled main island of Zanzibar.
