You can enjoy a sea and a garden view from all the rooms. After a week of disappointing hotels in the Zanzibar archipelago we found a place that made us feel we were getting good quality for our money. The place is comfortable, beautifully situated, clean. The staff, especially Jennifer and Kasib, made us feel we were looked after at all time. If you go to Pemba, and you should, you need to be here!

The location on the water front provides excellent opportunities for watching the dhows, fishing boats and ferries. Dennis our host is an excellent cook - his fresh grilled fish is superb - and we enjoyed his stories and lots of good conversation. Dennis and Suleiman will organise anything for you - diving, tours, pick ups, hospital visits! A very easy and enjoyable place to spend a few days.

At the resort, every room has a wardrobe and a balcony with a garden view. With a private bathroom equipped with a bidet and free toiletries, certain units at Pemba Paradise also provide guests with a sea view. All units at the accommodation include air conditioning and a desk. The rooms and facilities were much nicer than shown on the pictures. There are beautiful flowers and trees around the bungalows with birds and Bush babies at night and the beach front bar has a fantastic sunset view. The food was excellent and staff were very nice and attentive. There is a well equipped dive shop on site where we organised our diving and snorkelling trips from. We had 6 fantastic days and wished we could have stayed longer.

Pemba Lodge is an eco-friendly resort offering bungalows made out of recycled boats and natural local materials. Each one is has a secluded location in the large garden and has direct access to the beach. I have now been to Misali sunset beach hotel and pemba paradise, for me the eco lodge was the best experience. So authentic!!! The location is perfect for a exploring getaway! Friendly staff. Not crowded at all, at one of our nights we were the only guests at the resort. The beaches are so prestine and beautiful! Snorkeling and turtle aquarium I recommend! Food is excellent, super fresh tuna! The best I have ever tasted!!

Located in Chanjani, 3.8 km from Gombani Stadium, New Safari Hotel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a restaurant. This 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The hotel features family rooms. Clean room. They made cleaning and changed towels after one day, varied breakfast. Staff very nice and also arranged taxi to airport.

It was really good to see tides in action in this remote location, away from tourist-filled main island of Zanzibar.
