The home is right on the water and is surrounded by her incredible garden, and her family is friendly and excellent hosts. I wish I could have stayed longer!

The bed was comfortable, the room relatively quiet - there is a large tree full of birds outside the window, so they made some nice noise, but they allowed us to take a closer look at several local bird species (black kite, weaver, magpie ravens), so already at the hotel you can feel like you are on safari. We started each day with a delicious breakfast, making friends with the dogs and turtles living on the hotel premises. The place is also a gallery, so the traveler is surrounded by art - you can even look at the work of an artist who has his workshop in one of the courtyards. Is there a better way to start a trip around Senegal?
