Fabulous food, very comfortable accommodation, hammocks and sofas for relaxing open to the sky. Extremely caring and helpful staff. Brilliant map of the hikes in the canyon, and also local walking. We felt very much at home, well looked after and safe. So much excellent information about the hikes, we were talked through the route. What more can I say! Don't miss staying here!!!!!

The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast, which was great for both work and leisure. Lastly, the breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Colca Canyon is 34 km from the lodge. Rodríguez Ballón International Airport is 223 km away. Ronaldo was a caring, charming host. He was attentive to our needs, whilst giving us space to relax and rest our weary bodies. The pool was hot, although we didn’t have time to use it, the place was lovely with well kept plants and flowers and decorations. When we were about to leave, Ronaldo offered us bamboo sticks to walk up the last part of the trek to Cabanaconde. The beds were great with memory foam pillows and warm blankets and it was a relief with the hot shower to clean off the days sweat and dust - with shampoo and conditioner there! The food was good and a really good price, and we were able to stalk up on water and snacks before the trek up.

I dont know how this works. One extra is, when in the beginning we were only two guests in the dormitories they would give each of us his own dormitory, so a Privatroom for 6 dollars including breakfast..
