Be aware there is no hot water, but as we learned, this is fairly common in Sri Lanka. It’s on the main road, so there is some traffic noise, but it didn’t bother us. Dinner is also available with notice to the family.

Gihan et sa femme nous ont super bien accueillis. La chambre et la salle de bain était grandes et très propres. Nous avons également fait un cours de cuisine. Nous sommes d’abord aller au marché choisir les ingrédients et ensuite nous avons appris à faire un excellent Rice and Curry. Super expérience qu’on recommande fortement! Vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper avec ce logement, vous vous sentirez comme chez vous.

L’établissement Kaala Kalaththewa Luxury Eco Resort se trouve à Anurâdhapura, à 6 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Attikulama Tank. It was exceptional. The staff was professional and attentive and made us feel very welcome. The whole resort was clean, spacious and beautifully designed. It's located in a small forest with butterflies, pheasants, a variety of wild birds and cute chickens. You can take a walk, play badminton, go to the nearby lake or visit the temples in anuradhapura or mihintale - it's very close. The hosts can arrange tours as well - we went to Anuradhapura with a guide and it was very fun and a fair price. Also the food: try the Sri Lankan breakfast it's delicious! We loved the tree house - it was so relaxing when it was rainy. They even offered room service. :) long story short - a must stay. Ps: please note that there is nature around. It's a tree house in a jungle-like forest. There are occasionally frogs and other visitors on your terrace. We loved it though.

The vibes were super nice, the hosts made a community vibe and made you feel very welcome and in a family with everyone. It was the best decision to start my solo trip here as it already helped me meet people. The room is small but enough. It has a ventilator for the upper beds and another for the lower beds. The toilet and shower were very clean. The beds were comfy and pillows as well. They provide the bed sheeting. The kitchen!!! They have a small kitchen and it was gret for preparing breakfast and coffe and eating together with the rest of the people. They have hammocks and beds to chill everywhere, so the name fits very well ❤️‍🩹

Situé à Nochchiyagama, l’établissement MONI FARM HOUSE WILPATTU comprend des hébergements dotés de la climatisation. I would highly recommend this place for both locals and foreigners alike. The caretaker is amazing, he came to the road on his scooter to show us the way. The owner is super responsive and flexible.

Excellent location, few steps from the gate of the National Park! Room was very comfortable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable too and mosquito net provided. Air con was a welcome relief from the heat. Bathroom was also spacious and clean, hot water was great. The owner was the sweetest man, his nephew messaged to ask if I wanted dinner, I declined, but the owner knocked on my door to give me fruit and ice cream so I wouldn’t go hungry at night. So sweet! His nephew also provided me with a welcome drink and even took me on the safari. Highly recommend doing the safari with them, they were the most affordable and they really considered what animals I wanted to see and tried their best to find them. The breakfast, lunch and snacks were so good! I was very well fed! They were very accommodating to me and really put in effort to help me when my card had issues. I will definitely stay with them again.
