There is a private bathroom with bidet in some units, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Hakuba Third Place Lodge is one of my favourite places I’ve stayed. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Everything was spotless, and the private bath was beautifully designed and so relaxing after a day on the slopes. Akira and his team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, always making sure we had everything we needed. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious. The location is ideal—just minutes from the ski slopes and close to lovely bars and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Akira and the team.

The property has mountain and quiet street views, and is 41 km from Suzaka City Zoo. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Everything is so clean and well kept, the staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful and there is a wonderful sense of community among those staying there. The beds were also some of the most comfortable I’ve ever experienced at an accommodation.

16 km from Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area in Hakuba, 白馬の黒馬　DarkHorse @Hakuba offers accommodation with access to a hot tub and spa facilities. Among the various facilities are a garden, a bar, as well as a shared lounge. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Satisfied with the dormitory capsule size. Staffs are always friendly and helpful. Pick up service was good, reliable and flexible. Although shared bathroom, it is not quite busy. And shower, toilet and sinks are separate, which is good. Vibe is nice, people lives in the same hostel will always gather around the fireplace and share their day or their culture.

Set within less than 1 km of Matsumoto Station and 4.3 km of The Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, Nunoya Ryokan offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Matsumoto. The property has city views and is 30 km from Canora Hall and less than 1 km from Matsumoto Castle. The accommodation features full-day security and a concierge service for guests. Just returned from a two night stay in Nunoya Ryokan and can’t recommend it highly enough. The ryokan is in an excellent location, just steps away from restaurants, bakeries, a convenience store and shops. We loved our stay here and would definitely return.

This 4-star hotel offers a ski pass sales point and free shuttle service. The hotel features a hot spring bath and luggage storage space. Located in the Happo one area. Transfer service was heavenly! Staff was super nice and the onsen was perfect after a day out!

Very clean and comfortable rooms, the owner cooks amazing food and took excellent care of us. He even showed us around town as we didn’t have a car, told us a bit about the towns history and was kind enough to take us to the train station when we left. 10/10 will be coming back if I get the chance!
