Set on the grounds of Burg Schwarzenstein and surrounded by vineyards and a country garden, this chic hotel is quietly located in Geisenheim. It offers an award-winning gourmet restaurant and scenic views of the Rheintal valley. We didn't realize this is one of the Relais & Châteaux hotels before we arrive, and we're totally satisfied after arrival. Pretty nice holiday getaway hotel with good location, view, facility and friendly staff. There is a gift riesling in the room(yes of course, this is Geisenheim, riesling is the reason that brought us here), and it is a pretty tasty one. The hotel has a fine restaurant attached to it, but we didn't have a chance to try due to reservation issues.

Eibingen Abbey is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation and the ruins of Burg Ehrenfels castle are 5 km away. It is a 10-minute drive to the Rheingauer Wine Museum. The town centre as well as the outskirts of the town are both 5 km away from the property. Cozy charm overlooking the Rhine river and vineyards. Staff friendly and helpful, parking easy. A great escape to the peaceful countryside after a busy day exploring Rüdesheim. Close enough that you can walk into town. Dinner was delicious, doesn’t get any better with the stunning outlook. Added bonus self serve tea/coffee/wine available to purchase outside our room. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

All of the rooms at this non-smoking hotel include carpeted floors and a cosy seating area. Each room has an en suite bathroom and a free safety deposit box. All the rooms also have a TV. We were pleasantly surprised at the location of the hotel and the room looks just like the pictures. Mieka gave exceptional service and went over and above to help us out when there was something we didn't understand in german. Cannot wait to return to this amazing gem!
