They were very accommodating and allowed me to check-out around 1pm, because I had gone on a private tour in the morning.

We had this hotel recommended from one of my Danish friends who stayed here three years ago and stated it was a highlight of her trip in Bolivia. Having travelled for 7 weeks in South America now, we can also say that this is a key highlight of our trip! We stayed in the Suite with Jacuzzi and it was stunning. The attention to detail in the rooms made us feel very cozy and at ease from the get go. We can highly recommend booking this room if you want a huge window with a nature view and the most relaxing setting. The Jacuzzi fits two people and you will have views of the beautiful lake. The staff was so helpful and accommodated all our requests be it tea to the room, an extra night, arranging baggage service or routes to walk around the island- thank you! As we booked a second night we changed rooms as the Suite with Jacuzzi was unavailable. We stayed in a Double Room which was also very nice. All in all, treat yourself to a stay here!

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. The MOST beautiful view of Lake Titicaca through huge windows. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with lots of warm blankets and there was a heater, although we didn't need it. The shower was hot, everything was very clean and there was even a complimentary 3L bottle of water in the room. The breakfast was delicious and could be had out on the balcony or in the room. Shirley was so welcoming and friendly, we loved everything about our stay!

The room is large and very clean and comfy. The breakfast is perfect. Welcoming staff.

Once you’re at the top, the lodge is close to many restaurants and the start of the walk towards the north side of the island. Would definitely stay again.

The boats that leave Copacabana to the island of the sun, leave at 8.00am and at 01.30pm The host was very attentive and available when we needed but mostly allowed us our space. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Bolivia and accommodated our dietary requirements - she checked with us beforehand what would be suitable. Beds were comfortable and shower warm. View was incredible and such a special spot in the world. About halfway between the Pilkokaina port and Yumani port. Wifi available but in and out, but surprised there's even WiFi at all. Would recommend to anyone staying on Isla del Sol. Heater in room was perfect during breakfast but beds are warm enough that the temp wasn't an issue during the night.

Try and stay on the island for more than one night to really enjoy it! We stayed for three and it was like a retreat. The kindest host with the most delicious food. It was heaven.
