Situated on the Western Australian coastline within the beautiful shores of Shark Bay, RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort offers beachfront accommodation. Shark Bay is home to one of the world’s best-known dolphin encounters. The property features a swimming pool, bar, restaurant,mini golf. We stayed in a superior beach view room. Ideal for a couple or small family. We cannot praise this resort enough. The room is superbly positioned on the beach with dolphins swimming only 50 metres away! There is everything that you need, a comfy bed, a small kitchen, beach and bath towels, cleaning materials etc. After a long drive from Perth via an overnight in Geraldton, we were really ready for our stay. Monkey mia did not disappoint. We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant and a takeaway meal from the bar, both were generous portions. Sundowner drinks in happy hour were also a must for us. We wished that we had been able to stay for longer.

What a lovely surprise, this beautifully appointed little house appeared brand new with up market fixtures and fittings! Also we ate at Miss Fang ‘Japanese Chinese cuisine Restaurant which is situated within Norwesta’s Lifestyle Park property. Very nice food! A little Oasis in the middle of nowhere. Overlooking a dry river bed. Stunning Australian birds and trees. Loved the delicious coffee at the onsite cafe. We enjoyed the slow roasted Beef Cheeks in the outside Garden area. About 100km south of Carnarvon which suited us. The campground and facilities are great.
