There is a shortcut to the old town where the restaurants and shops are, making it very accessible and convenient to go there, and at the same time you can have a bit of tranquility. The hotel is amazing as you can oversee the majestic mountains during breakfast sitting outside, it is just beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast itself is amazing too. The service was also excellent. You can tell they put their heart and effort into it. Staff members are nice and friendly as well. The rooms are nice. We were amazed by how they renovated the old building to what it is today. Impressive. It would have been better with air fan in the bathroom but it is not too bad. I will recommend people to come and if I return to this city I will stay here again.

I had a stay one night at mele guesthouse . Location - perfect, couple of minutes walking to the old bazar . Breakfast - done with love, fresh and contains everything the body needs . The owner edmond - a very kind and caring guy that gives his guest the best experience, its hard to describe by words, the experience itself tells everything . God to keep you edmond and your family and wish you the best .

I don't have any bad comment to add. everything was amazing, the room was super cozy, we were in a very cloudy days but I am pretty sure that the views to the castle were great, and the best thing was the delicious breakfast Matilda and her family gave us ! with a lot of mandarins from their own tree. thanks, I will really reccomend this stay

L'Hotel Gjirokastër est situé à 300 mètres du centre de Gjirokastër, dans un quartier célèbre pour ses nombreux musées. the Hotel Gjirokaster is in the perfect location to the bazaar area, restaurants and close to the historic castle. the staff were amazing and very helpful. our room was lovely and had a view facing the bazaar area. there is a nice clean pool and lounging area. It was a much needed rest day for us.
