Everything was incredible about this property from the minute we stepped into the main door I was swept away and in awe. The official pictures don’t do it justice and we were so pleasantly surprised by the beauty. It was the best place we’ve stayed so far in our SA trip, and even after coming from some places that we would have thought to be hard to beat. The view is jaw dropping, it’s so peaceful, and all of the staff especially the owner is so generous and kind!!! Truly amazing and feel so lucky to have come across this wonder! Wish we could have stayed longer. Best sunsets too. We had the private guest cottage which gave really nice privacy, spotlessly clean, nice amenities and super comfortable. Just book it, you will have no regrets. If it could be 11/10 it would be

This accommodation was a little slice of heaven. On the waterfront with a beautiful view of the bay. Our room was great, spacious, clean and felt homely. Desi was amazing & the breakfast she provided was amazing. There was wood supplied for the fire place on the balcony where we cooked there one night. We loved it so much we ended up booking an extra night. 12/10 recommend staying here. The views from the room were enough to just hang out there all day if you wanted too.

Everything about Casabalena was perfect, picture perfect, beautiful sunrise and sunsets.Beautiful accommodation, everything you needed was there.Irma was there to meet and greet and show us around.Alida the Host, made contact with us the evening before our departure , advising us on things to do and places to see.Casabalena are one of those places you just wish you could stay a little longer.Thank you for sharing your paradise with us.

Saxon Lodge was one of the best places to stay during our three week vacation in South Africa. The owners in particular were always very friendly and genuinely interested in us. We felt at home right from the start. All our questions were answered at all times. We were given an upgrade due to minor building work on our room. The location of the accommodation is perfect and the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you! We would stay here again at any time.
