My family has been staying at that Lodge for about 40 years. My uncle and Aunt lived up there most of my life and we have always stayed there. The only thing that I missed was the continental breakfast with the new owners. Other than that, everything there was great! I even recommended it to some people that we saw at the water Safari park.

No staff to greet you. Did not see any staff during our stay. Although our stay went well, if we needed help or assistance we would have been out of luck. Don't understand the concept. Perhaps it was because we were there before the summer season got underway. ??? The view from the porch was spectacular.

Spectacular view of the lake. Accommodation is right on the water. Our room was gorgeous with thoughtful details in the styling (traditional cabin) and amenities (like make up removal wipes). A great stay! And a bonus sample of home made cinnamon scrolls.

Property owner Vickie was incredibly friendly and offered many suggestions for local activities, restaurants etc. We were late arriving from a long drive from Canada and she stayed in the office until we arrived to make sure we got in alright.
