Aldi across the street. Old strip on the other side of it. The Hop on hop off bus stop is almost at the door. Just an amazing spot. Highly recommended for a quiet stay! My brother has been in hospital and received a defibrillator, sister in law had cancer surgery on October 10th. Needed WiFi in case a medical emergency requiring us to cancel our vacation. Result was we lost our private accommodations and had to move into a 2 bedroom apartment. Wasn’t an ideal situation. Take it or leave it situation. For us being a bit older it would have been helpful to know you were not allowed to have sun beds or chairs, just put a towel on the grass, so sitting round the pool was not possible. This spoilt the holiday a good bit. The flat is also in a dip with a steep walk out, back up the dip. The nearest beach was down lots of steps also. The whole stay has a very family oriented feel to it, which is something you don’t get from many accommodations. The units themselves are spacious and stunning, and you know that you are in Portugal, with the lovely decor. The apartment had everything we needed for a 2 week stay. Loved sitting on our balcony in morning enjoying our coffee. PLUS it is part of a hotel complex...it was like staying at a resort.
